The Kiffin Era Has Begun

LSU wins 51-10 over Clemson

LSU’s showdown with Clemson delivered an early look at the energy, confidence, and expectations surrounding the program’s new direction. The LSU Tigers under Lane Kiffin showed the kind of competitiveness and urgency LSU fans expect.

The first two plays of the game had Tiger Town feeling that this would be a tough road to victory. Then the explosive, hard-hitting LSU defense took the field and set the tone for the entire game. LSU’s offense finished with 644 total yards (335 passing, 309 rushing). The defense allowed only 145 total yards, sacked the QB 4 times, had 11 tackles for Loss, and recorded a pick-6 by DE Jordan Ross.
